A Fashion Fancy

Burberry has revealed the beautiful new face of it's latest campaign - Harry Potter actress turned model, Emma Watson.

Fantastic choice, I say.

I thought Jesus was dead...?

...It seems, however, that he is infact still alive and kicking...here's 'Another Miracle' - well, my review of it anyway.

"‘Another Miracle’ is just another piece of gritty evidence to support these facts (how very CSI of me). With an intro that accelerates into your personal sound system, you know you’re going to have a proper ear soaking when the allegro drums kick in and Ryan Dooley’s everyman voice tailors in like a finely sewn seam..."

A 'Royal Disorder Poison Party' circa 2005.

Art isn't something I have promoted on here before but today, for the first time ever, I will do so.

Camille Rose Garcia is phenomenal.

I've followed her work for quite a while now after randomly finidng her on the internet (I think Amazon recommended me one of her books).

Having cited her influences as Disney and Phillip K. Dick, you know that she's just got to be to die for. And she doesn't disappoint.

As an example, take a look at this (it's gothic, glitter heaven - or is it hell?):

Helmet Head

Something exciting is going down on the Runways.

HELMETS. Yes - the things bikers typically wear on their heads when riding around on their Harleys. Or those cool kids on their Vespas.

Now, it seems, that the Helmet is the newest fashion accessory.

Wear it on your head. Throw it onto your arm and use it as a bag to carry those all important everyday needs - key, money, cigarettes.

Karl Lagerfeld for Ruby Helmets (complete with ipod pouch). Clever.

Diesel helmets come in bronze, silver and black.

Moschino were the originators.

Even Louis Vuitton have jumped on the back of the bike, finished off with the all important, world-known print.

'Coming Up Easy'

Scottish singer-songwriter, and one of my personal favourites, Paolo Nutini, has hit the official UK number one spot in the album charts with his second offering and has, quite literally, landed 'Sunny Side Up'.

Let's hope he preserves the positives and looks a little less glazed this year whilst on the festival circuit.

A Song for your Inner Ear

A nice little grooving, dancey nugget here. Enjoy the beats.

"Heavy drum beats, scratchy guitars and an electronic scuttling beetle sound are the key ingredients for Innerpartysystem’s latest release, ‘Heart of Fire.’"

Dead in the Water...

Another new review for your pretty eyes - this one's a little different, and not in a good way...

"This set of remixes is a sure fire hit for the shores of Spanish synth heaven, Ibiza, but for sitting at home with a cuppa, it’s all a little bit too much."
